Meet Dr. Lyon
Dr. Lyon graduated from the University of Texas in 1986 and joined her first associateship in Houston where she practiced until moving to Austin. She has been practicing cosmetic and family dentistry in south Austin since 1991.
Dr. Lyon enjoys taking continuing education courses emphasizing the newest technologies and techniques in cosmetic and laser dentistry and has enjoyed evening study clubs learning advanced Invisalign techniques. She also belongs to an implant restorative study club dedicated to learning the latest innovations in implant dentistry.
Anne's favorite pastime is watching her two sons play the sports they love most: soccer, football, and basketball. They also enjoy boating on Lake Travis and occasional camping trips to the coast for fishing and beach time. In the winter, the family tries to take a long weekend on the mountains of Colorado, skiing and snowboarding.
In Dr. Lyon's spare time, she likes to read and attempts to make it to the gym for the most needed "stress relief- energy burning" workout.
Balancing her career and family has been a very rewarding challenge. Dr. Lyon would like to welcome you into her "dental family." In addition to being a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Anne Lyon is a member of the American Dental Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Texas Association of Women Dentists. Texas Dental Association, the Capital Area Dental Society, Academy of Laser Dentistry, Society for the Dentistry for Children, American Orthodontic Society and is a Certified Provider of Invisalign braces.
