Hi, I am Dr. Anne Lyon at the Austin Tooth Fairy. I have been working in dentistry for many years. I became a dental hygienist back in the 70s and worked in dentistry as a hygienist for a long time with wonderful mentors. Dentists there told me that I should go on to dental school, so I did. I went from Michigan to Texas to come to Texas to go to the dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Since then, I worked in Houston for several years and then finally made it to Austin, where now I have this wonderful practice with a wonderful team. If you come to me in pain, we love it when you are feeling better. I know when I go to a new doctor or a new place that it is very uncomfortable; how the people going to treat me?, how am I going to feel?, am I going to be nervous; I am going to have to wait a long time? These are the things that we think are very important in our practice and I have a wonderful group that will make you feel as comfortable as anyone can feel at a dental office.
