They come in here with the signs and symptoms of periodontal disease, but because periodontal disease does not hurt, they feel that they are disease free. We concentrate on that by measuring the gums and overall health of your body. One of the things we offer at Dr. Anne Lyon’s office is a sonic toothbrush. The sonic toothbrush can help reduce the risk of bacteria colonizing in the gums. It pulsates and creates bubbles that can breakup these bacterial colonies if they do form and prevent gum disease.
