Dr. Shvets has purchased our practice!

My Dear Patients and Friends,

I have great news to share with you! I am proud and excited to say that Dr. Yaron Shvets, who has been working alongside me for over four years, has now assumed ownership of the dental practice. Even more great news is that I plan to stay with the practice and continue to see the patients I have cared for these 32 years. All of our amazing team members are staying as well! You will be greeted with the same smiling faces you are accustomed to seeing when you arrive at our office.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to care for you and your families all these years. I have enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you, and treasure the relationships that we’ve built together. I look forward to seeing you all and continuing to care for you.

In transitioning the practice, I needed to search far and wide for a colleague who shared the same values and dedication to patient care as me. Dr. Shvets has been an integral part of our dental team since 2018, and many of you have gotten to know him during this time as a warm and talented dentist. Dr. Shvets is a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry. While obtaining his doctorate, he was accepted to New York University’s highly regarded honors program in Aesthetics. After dental school he completed his residency at Coney Island Hospital in New York City, after which he and his family moved to Austin to raise their children and become a part of this amazing city.

Dr. Shvets is committed to exceptional oral care through continually learning about the latest dental advancements and best practices to deliver the highest quality care to his patients. This was evident when he became one of the first from his class to be awarded the prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), which only 6% of general dentists in the United States attain. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of General Dentistry, Central Texas Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Clear Aligners, and the Capital Area Dental Society. In addition to the extraordinary dental experience he brings to our practice, many of you know him for his empathy and the great value he places on individualized care while keeping his patients comfortable.

Dr. Shvets and his wife, Regina, have a daughter and two sons. They enjoy spending time together by checking out Austin parks, fun food trucks, and going on family bike rides together. Dr. Shvets is also on a mission to learn how to play the guitar!

We are all very excited about this new chapter and thank you – our patients, for entrusting your dental care and health to us. You can be certain that when you come in for your visit, you will receive the same high quality and tender care you have come to appreciate and expect at our practice.
